What is the difference between Viagra and Cialis?

Viagra contains sildenafil; Cialis contains tadalafil. Both are used to treat erectile dysfunction, but they are different medicines and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Is Viagra or Cialis better for everyone?

A clinician considers health history, other medicines, personal circumstances and the product leaflet. Tadalafil may have a longer window of effect. This does not mean a continuous erection or that it suits everyone.

How long can Cialis work?

The Cialis prescribing information reports improved erectile function for up to 36 hours after an as-needed dose. This describes a possible window of response, not a 36-hour erection. Daily and as-needed regimens are different arrangements that a clinician selects. Do not copy a schedule from another person.

How do side effects and interactions compare?

Tadalafil commonly causes headache, indigestion, back or muscle pain, flushing and nasal congestion. Nitrates and riociguat are contraindicated. Are generic sildenafil and tadalafil interchangeable?
